At noon on August 30, Huong Hiep Commune Police received a report that 5 people working in the cajuput forest in Thuong Lam village, Cam Lo were stuck for nearly 2 days, without food, and their lives were in danger.
Immediately, Huong Hiep Commune Police coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police to deploy an emergency rescue plan in the conditions of high flood water and strong currents.
After more than 4 hours, from 11:30 to 15:50, 25 officers and soldiers approached and brought all 5 people out safely.
