The 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Open Golf Championship organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Golf Association (HGA) marks 11 years of continuous innovation, improving the quality and professionalism of the tournament.

With a score of 82 strokes, golfer Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung excellently surpassed Nguyen Thi Trai (83 strokes) and Nguyen Thi Thu Trang (88 strokes) to win the women's championship. By winning this year's championship, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung also set a record of 5 times winning the championship in 11 times, previously winning in 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023.
In the men's tournament, golfer Duong Quoc Tuynh won the championship after a "suffocating" match with Pham Quoc Phuong. Both golfers had 77 strokes, so these two golfers had to go into the play-off round to decide the winner. After 4 play-off rounds, Duong Quoc Tuynh overcame his opponent to win the championship. This is also the first championship title of this golfer in the Ho Chi Minh City Golf Championship.

This year's tournament also marked an important milestone in the development of young golf when the Green Tree category was first introduced for young golfers with a handicap index under 13.9 to compete, practice, learn and aim for professional competition, contributing to the sustainable development of the golf movement . Golfer Anna Le won the gold medal in this category with a score of 74 strokes, Arena Tran won the silver medal with a score of 77 strokes and Vuong Nam A won the bronze medal with a score of 80 strokes.
