Contribute to building the great national unity bloc in Minh Duc commune (Tu Ky)

*Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Duc Commune (Tu Ky)*

Every year, Mr. Thanh always proactively builds programs and plans for the Front's activities in conjunction with the local political tasks, thereby proposing solutions for effective implementation. In implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" , Mr. Thanh and the Commune Fatherland Front Committee propagate and mobilize cadres, party members and people to support funding for the construction of public works. Typical examples include building a cultural house in Van village with a budget of 2.5 billion VND; repairing and upgrading the cultural house in Phuc Lam village with a budget of over 2.3 billion VND; building a multi-purpose gymnasium in Mep village with a budget of 350 million VND...

Together with many other comrades, Mr. Thanh actively went to each household to mobilize land donations for rural roads. That effort contributed to the overall achievement of the locality, in which people donated 1,900 m2 of land. Build nearly 5 km of road with a total cost of 6.5 billion VND in the period from 2021 to 2023.

The Minh Duc Commune Fatherland Front Committee also presided over and coordinated the mobilization of households to classify and treat waste at home, and supported poor households to buy trash cans. Up to now, over 90% of households in the commune have participated in the model.

Mr. Thanh has always directed and implemented well social security activities for the poor. The Minh Duc Commune Fatherland Front Committee has mobilized the entire population to support the southern provinces and cities affected by the Covid-19 epidemic with nearly 100 million VND; built a Fund for Care and Promotion of the Role of the Elderly, a Humanitarian Fund, a Fund for Care of Agent Orange Victims, etc.

From 2020 to 2023, Mr. Thanh and other members of the front actively mobilized organizations, individuals, and businesses to donate 1,941 Tet gifts to poor households and people in difficulty in the commune; 24 wheelchairs for people with disabilities; built 10 Great Solidarity houses for poor households...

In the work of the Fatherland Front participating in Party building and local government building, Mr. Thanh focused on organizing conferences to criticize and contribute ideas to draft documents of the Commune Party Congress and Party Congress documents at all levels. Many opinions and contributions from the Front were accepted by the Party Committee and the government, considering this an important and necessary information channel to help the Party Committee and the government in leadership and management.

With the above practical work, Mr. Thanh has received many certificates of merit from the Central and local levels for his outstanding achievements in Front work.
