On the morning of July 8, the Steering Committee for Management of Organizational Apparatus and Staffing of Hanoi City held the 12th conference (term 2020-2025) to evaluate the results of the first 6 months of the year, deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024 and give opinions on a number of thematic contents as proposed by the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Party Committee of the City People's Committee.

Regarding the organizational structure, according to Ms. Tuyen, the city will reorganize the apparatus and staffing of commune-level administrative units according to the approved plan for the 2023-2025 period; continue to improve the quality of operations and increase the autonomy of units: Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School, Thu Do University; colleges, vocational secondary schools; and vocational training institutions in the city.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen also requested the units to complete the transfer of the District, Town and City Health Centers currently under the Department of Health to the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities for management; consolidate, reorganize, dissolve and establish new branches and public service units; approve the Project on restructuring 4 corporations under the City People's Committee.
