Hanoi opens sustainable production and consumption network connection chain

On the morning of September 12, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the People's Committees of Duong Noi, Phu Dien and Tu Liem wards, opened the "Sustainable Production and Consumption Network" connection chain program; Sustainable Production-Consumption Chain Connection Week for Traditional Craft Villages in 2025.

The event was held at The Linc shopping mall (ParkCity Hanoi urban area, Le Trong Tan street, Duong Noi ward).

Director of the Hanoi Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting (Department of Industry and Trade) Hoang Minh Lam said that the "Sustainable Production and Consumption Network" connection chain and the Sustainable Production-Consumption Chain Connection Week for traditional craft villages in 2025 include activities of displaying and promoting products; honoring typical sustainable production and consumption enterprises; and signing cooperation agreements on green production-consumption chains.

In addition, from September 12 to 14 at The Linc Commercial Center, the linkage activity between retail distribution facilities and suppliers of environmentally friendly products was organized, with a scale of 50 booths; while the chain connecting the network of production and sustainable consumption of the friendly and safe food industry had a scale of 80 booths.

From September 16 to 18, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade will organize a network connection chain for sustainable production and consumption in the industry group of recycled products and the application of natural and environmentally friendly raw materials and materials. The venue is at Mega Market Thang Long Trade Center (No. 236 Pham Van Dong Street, Phu Dien Ward, Hanoi), with a scale of 80 booths.

From September 29 to October 3, at the Square area opposite My Dinh National Stadium (Le Quang Dao Street, Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi), the Department continues to organize a network connection chain for sustainable production and consumption in the field of wooden handicrafts and furniture, with a scale of 120 booths.

Through this series of events, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade hopes that production, business, distribution enterprises and consumers will promote innovation, sustainable linkages, efficient use of resources, fuels, raw materials, minimize waste generation, increase production of green products, promote the circular economy , and reduce environmental pollution.
