Hanoi launched the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month, nearly 200 workers received free health check-ups

This year, the 2024 Action Month on Occupational Safety and Hygiene has the theme: "Strengthening occupational safety and hygiene at workplaces and in supply chains"; and the theme of Workers' Month 2024: "Worker solidarity - Implementing the resolution".

Accordingly, the launching ceremony also displayed propaganda photos on occupational safety and hygiene and the movement of workers in the capital; 100 workers in difficult circumstances, who had work accidents or occupational diseases were given gifts, including gift bags worth 350,000 VND and 1,000,000 VND in cash; 100 gifts for children of workers in difficult circumstances including gift bags worth 250,000 VND and 1,000,000 VND in cash....

Hundreds of workers received free health check-ups at the launching ceremony of the 2024 Labor Safety and Hygiene Month.

In particular, at the launching ceremony, 150-200 workers received free health check-ups conducted by the Hoan Kiem District Labor Federation in coordination with the District Medical Center;

Immediately after the launching ceremony, workers also received legal advice from the Hanoi Trade Union Center for Legal Advice and Labor Support.

Hanoi People's Committee said that in the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2024, departments, branches, City Trade Unions at all levels, and relevant agencies will strengthen propaganda on the implementation of the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in the city...

Workers received legal advice immediately after the launching ceremony.

At the same time, strengthen the organization of inspection and examination of labor safety and hygiene; organize specialized activities on labor safety and hygiene and community activities (consulting and supporting businesses to improve working conditions; propaganda and training for workers working in areas without labor relations...).

The dialogue between the Chairman of the City People's Committee and workers of the Capital in 2024 is expected to be held in mid-April 2024 at the Thach That - Quoc Oai Industrial Park.

Organizing the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene and the Month of Workers aims to create a peak in propaganda work, raise awareness of all levels, sectors, employers, and employees about the sense of compliance with the law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in enterprises, production and business establishments and propagate the position of the Vietnamese working class in general and the Capital's workers in particular in the cause of economic and social development of the Capital and the country.
