Hanoi launches special digital media products to celebrate 80th National Day

On the afternoon of August 22, the Center for Communications, Data and Digital Technology - Office of the Hanoi People's Committee officially launched a special digital media product called VR-A80, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The VR-A80 product offers a 360-degree virtual reality experience, vividly recreating the sacred historical space at Ba Dinh Square - where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Through short videos integrated into the product, people and international friends can relive the moment President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, witness the flag-raising ceremony, the first military parade, listen to the song "Ba Dinh Sunshine" in the heroic atmosphere, and at the same time explore iconic landmarks associated with the Capital such as the Presidential Palace, the National Assembly House, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Bac Son Martyrs' Memorial...

In particular, the VR-A80 product also integrates an interactive map with information and travel instructions, the A80 handbook and a number of digital media products produced by Hanoi Radio and Television Station, to support and serve the people and tourists most conveniently.

Not only a technological product, VR-A80 is also a bridge connecting the past - present - future, helping the young generation and international tourists understand more deeply about the nation's history, while promoting the image of Hanoi - the civilized, heroic, and modern capital.

With two languages, Vietnamese and English, the product is integrated on the Hanoi City Electronic Information Portal, information pages of 126 communes and wards and many digital platforms, ensuring wide accessibility and strong spread in society./.
