Hanoi will announce the tourist route "Discovering the Nam Thang Long Heritage Road"

In response to the International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2024 taking place in Hanoi from April 11-14, 2024, on April 12, 2024, Hanoi Department of Tourism will organize a survey team, experience and announce the Hanoi Center - Thanh Oai - My Duc tourist route with the theme "Discovering the South Thang Long Heritage Road".

The Hanoi - Thanh Oai - Ung Hoa - My Duc Central tourist route will focus on exploiting historical sites and craft villages, including Noi communal house in Binh Da village, Binh Minh commune (Thanh Oai district); Quang Phu Cau incense stick craft village (Ung Hoa district), Phung Xa weaving village (Phung Xa commune, My Duc district).

Noi Communal House in Binh Da village, Binh Minh commune, Thanh Oai district, where the national ancestor Lac Long Quan is worshiped, has been ranked as a national monument since 1985. This communal house has a relief carving of the national ancestor Lac Long Quan wearing a flat-top hat and a royal robe with Lac Viet's generals and lac hou and lac generals attending a boat race on the Do Dong Giang river. The relief has been recognized as a national treasure since 2015.

In the journey to explore the Nam Thang Long heritage road, there are also traditional craft villages with hundreds of years of age such as the incense stick craft village in Quang Phu Cau commune, Ung Hoa district with 6/6 villages recognized as craft villages. Quang Phu Cau incense sticks are not only famous for the spiritual needs of the domestic market but are also exported to a number of other countries, creating jobs for hundreds of workers. Quang Phu Cau is currently a destination that attracts a large number of domestic and international tourists.

At Phung Xa silk weaving village, My Duc district, visitors will experience the stages of growing mulberry, raising silkworms, spinning silk, weaving fabric, growing lotus to make lotus silk thread, weaving and embroidering lotus silk and experience making unique lotus silk products.

This tourist route was built and put into operation by the Hanoi Department of Tourism to create a premise for travel agencies to exploit together, thereby continuing to connect with other service providers to form more new tours and routes with more appeal.

The exploitation of these tourist routes demonstrates the determination of the Hanoi Department of Tourism in building and improving the quality of tourism products and tourist destinations associated with the conservation and promotion of heritages, relics and craft villages of the capital.

According to the program of the Department of Tourism, in the afternoon of the same day, the survey team will participate in the discussion program "Solutions to develop the tourist route Hanoi Center - Thanh Oai - Ung Hoa - My Duc to connect relic sites, heritage sites and craft villages in Hanoi city".
