Ha Tien - a remote area at the end of the world

Ha Tien, the land at the southwestern tip of the country, was discovered and built by Mac Cuu (1655-1735) in the mid-17th century and continued to be expanded and developed into a large land by his son Mac Thien Tich (1718-1780). Ha Tien city at the end of the 17th century was a small but bustling and beautiful port.

By the beginning of the 20th century, Ha Tien in the writings of the cultural writer - poet Dong Ho was a land that, although located in a remote place at the end of the world, had everything, including limestone mountains of Ninh Binh, deep and dangerous caves like Lang Son, a bit of stone chambers and mountain gates of Huong Tich, a bit of West Lake of Hanoi , a bit of Huong Giang of Hue, a bit of pagodas of Bac Ninh, a bit of islands of Ha Long or Nha Trang... He wrote: "Here there is no big and complete scene, here it is just small and pretty, but there is every scene".
