(Baohatinh.vn) - The 2020-2025 term marks a period of outstanding and comprehensive development of Ha Tinh education, from innovation in programs and methods, to development of learners' qualities and capacities and breakthroughs in quality, thereby affirming its position on the national education map.

Provincial leaders and the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh congratulated Tran Minh Hoang - a former student of grade 12 Math 1 at Ha Tinh Specialized High School, the owner of the gold medal at the 2025 International Math Olympiad.

Right from the beginning of the term, Ha Tinh has identified education as the key "key" in the strategy of human development and enhancing the local competitiveness. Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Nguyet shared: “In the past term, the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training has synchronously deployed many solutions, focusing on key tasks and solutions in consulting and organizing implementation. The implementation of the 2018 General Education Program is considered an important "push". This is not only a change in textbooks but also a comprehensive shift from teaching methods, testing, evaluation, management to educational thinking. In that spirit, the sector has built a methodical and flexible implementation plan according to local conditions, promoting the proactive role of schools, creativity of teachers and self-study ability of students".

The teaching staff constantly improves their expertise and implements many teaching methods to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

The whole industry has organized hundreds of intensive training courses for managers and key teachers; innovated professional group activities in the direction of lesson research; developed integrated interdisciplinary educational models, learning through experience and through projects. Ms. Tran Thi Canh Thuan - teacher of Mai Thuc Loan High School (Mai Phu Commune) shared: “The new general education program has really created a change in thinking and action among the teaching staff. Not only stopping at technology, schools also proactively deploy many modern educational models such as STEM, STEAM... to create excitement for students in absorbing lectures.

Along with innovating teaching methods, the Department of Education and Training also identified digital transformation as one of the important "levers" to modernize teaching and learning activities, meeting the requirements of the digital age. Up to now, 100% of educational institutions in the province have used electronic records, deployed teaching management software, grade books, and electronic contact books. At the same time, a digital lecture library has been built to serve students and teachers. Flexible learning models, combining direct and online learning, are being applied more and more effectively, helping students proactively access open knowledge, practice self-study skills, and form lifelong learning habits.

Not stopping at technology, schools have also proactively implemented many modern educational models such as: STEM, STEAM, environmental education, career guidance and creative experiences. At the same time, the movement to build "Happy Schools" has spread widely, aiming to build a safe - friendly - positive pedagogical environment. Each class becomes a space to nurture the passion for learning, train the will, develop students' emotions and personalities. Many schools have become ideal destinations, where students "go to school every day is a happy day".

One of the outstanding marks, vividly reflecting the results of the comprehensive innovation process of Ha Tinh education is the strong breakthrough in quality. In just 5 years, the average score of the high school graduation exam in the whole province has increased dramatically, from 26th place nationwide in 2020 to 2nd place in 2025. Ha Tinh's key education continues to affirm its position in national and international knowledge arenas with brilliant achievements.

The quality of education in Ha Tinh has achieved many positive results, affirming its position on the national education map.

In the past 4 years, Ha Tinh students have continuously achieved high results in international Olympic competitions with 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal in Chemistry and Mathematics. National and provincial teams of excellent students have maintained stable performance, high winning rate and increasingly improved quality. In particular, many students have won full scholarships from international universities, or been admitted to top universities in the country, becoming typical faces of Ha Tinh intelligence - dynamic, knowledgeable, brave and ready to go far.

These proud results are a vivid proof of the combination of tradition and innovation, between the dedication of teachers and the aspirations of students. That is an important endogenous resource, contributing to bringing Ha Tinh education further on the journey of sustainable development and international integration.
