In the 2020-2025 term, the Ha Tinh Education sector has implemented many practical solutions. The whole sector has actively and strongly innovated teaching methods and forms, innovated testing and student assessment; focused on promoting digital transformation, applying IT, and gradually and effectively exploiting AI.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh welcomed Tran Minh Hoang (Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted) and Vo Trong Khai (Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted - hometown of former Nghi Xuan district) after winning gold medals at the 66th International Math Olympiad in 2025 in Australia.

To date, 100% of educational institutions have used electronic records, applied software, organized training, teacher training, and combined face-to-face and online teaching. Many educational institutions have proactively applied modern models such as STEM, STEAM, environmental education, and career education, creating conditions for students to access knowledge in an intuitive and practical way. Activities related to life are flexibly integrated into the curriculum, contributing to stimulating creative thinking, practical skills and civic awareness.

One of the highlights of the past term is the strong breakthrough in the quality of key education, in which 393 students won national excellent student awards; 2 students won gold medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad (years: 2022, 2023), 1 student won both silver and gold medals at the International Mathematics Olympiad (years: 2024, 2025); many students were admitted to top universities in the country. The average score of the high school graduation exam in the whole province increased from 26th in 2020 to 2nd in the country in 2025, clearly reflecting the effectiveness of innovation strategies.

The efforts of teachers and students of Ha Tinh have created impressive results in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

Ms. Nguyen Thi My Binh - Vice Principal of Ha Tinh Specialized High School shared: "The key educational achievements are the result of the efforts of teachers and students and the deep concern of the province and industry in discovering and nurturing excellent students. This proud result clearly demonstrates the students' will to excel, studying not only for exams, but also to affirm the mettle of Ha Tinh people in the integration journey".

Not only focusing on the quality of study, cultural, artistic and sports movements in schools are also promoted. Ha Tinh students also shine in many art, sports and scientific and technical research playgrounds in the province and in the country.

Proactively and resolutely implement Resolution 71-NQ/TW

Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development is opening up important opportunities for the entire Ha Tinh education sector to continue to innovate and improve quality.

Innovation in teaching methods contributes to the comprehensive development of learners' capacity.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh said: "Based on the content of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, the sector has promptly advised on the development of an Action Program to implement the resolution, which is an important basis for the entire sector and localities to implement synchronously and effectively. This is a consistent guideline, contributing to realizing the education and training development goals of the province in the new period".

The action program is built with a spirit of innovation, comprehensiveness and substance, in which, it especially emphasizes a number of key contents: Improving the quality of teachers and educational management staff; increasing investment in facilities and teaching equipment; promoting digital transformation in education; strengthening ethics education, life skills, career orientation for students; ensuring fairness in access to education, especially for disadvantaged areas and vulnerable groups.

Schools have increased investment in facilities and equipment, contributing to ensuring equitable access to education.

Faced with new requirements of the development and integration period, Ha Tinh education is determined to continue to innovate strongly, comprehensively and substantially; taking students as the center, developing education in a modern and humanistic direction, building happy schools, and gradually forming high-quality human resources.

Along with advising on the issuance of breakthrough mechanisms and policies, focusing on attracting talents, promoting the construction of smart schools, discovering and nurturing key education experts; promoting digital transformation, innovating teaching methods, testing and evaluation; strengthening STEM education, teaching 2 sessions/day at all levels. At the same time, continue to replicate good models, good examples; coordinate synchronously with departments, branches, localities, mobilize social resources, promote the role of parents and the community in the education career.

Innovation in teaching methods, taking students as the center, contributes to training knowledge and skills for students.

From the outstanding results in the past term, together with the close leadership of the province, the effective coordination of all levels and sectors and the companionship of the people, Ha Tinh education continues to affirm its core role in human development, nurturing generations rich in intelligence and strong will, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
