Two brothers in their 70s help their nephew pass the 2025 high school graduation exam

On June 25, more than 13,700 candidates in Can Tho City came to the testing site to complete procedures to take the 2025 high school graduation exam.

At the exam site of Doan Thi Diem Secondary School (Ninh Kieu District), Mr. Do Ngoc Huong (69 years old) and his younger brother Do Ngoc Tu (66 years old, both living in An Binh Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) took their two grandchildren, Ngo Nhat Minh and Do Thanh Dat, to complete the exam registration procedures. When the grandchildren entered the exam room, the two men sat outside the gate waiting to pick them up. Not only did they take them to the exam site, but they also carefully recorded the exam schedule for each subject and arranged the pick-up and drop-off time accordingly.

Mr. Huong shared: "The two children have played together since childhood and studied at the same school. Now they have the same exam scores, so my brother and I take turns taking them from the day of the exam registration procedure to the two official exam days, to help the children feel secure in taking the exam."

According to Mr. Huong, Minh and Dat's parents are busy working so he and his younger brother take care of their children's education.
