Hai Duong exceeds 2024 public investment disbursement plan 1 week in advance

On the morning of January 24, comrade Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress, encouraged and wished a Happy New Year to cadres and workers participating in the construction of key projects of the province.

According to the update on the progress of public investment disbursement on the software application for monitoring the plan and progress of public investment of Hai Duong province, by 2:00 p.m. on January 24, the whole province had disbursed more than VND 8,630 billion in public investment capital, an increase of nearly VND 2,000 billion compared to 2023, reaching 95.9% of the plan assigned by the province and exceeding 24.6% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.

Thus, up to now, Hai Duong has exceeded the capital disbursement plan assigned by the province by 0.9%, 7 days earlier than the 2024 investment capital disbursement deadline (ends on January 31, 2025). 3 localities with a public investment capital disbursement rate of 100% include Kim Thanh, Tu Ky and Binh Giang.

Binh Giang district alone has made a strong breakthrough, in just 5 days (from January 20 to 24), from one of the two localities with a disbursement rate below 90%, it has surpassed to reach 100.1%. The remaining localities and units all reached from 92% - 99.7%.

The progress of investment capital disbursement has achieved high results thanks to the efforts, determination and close direction of the provincial leaders, especially the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Ngoc Chau. On the morning of January 24, he inspected and extended New Year greetings at a number of construction sites where key projects of the province are being constructed.

Party committees, authorities at all levels and units have made great efforts to accelerate the progress of site clearance, approve compensation plans; urgently complete payment procedures and accept construction works. Some works and projects with large total investment are in the completion stage, so their value is large. Some projects with large-value compensation capital disbursement have been completed.
