Two artists Quang Teo and Chien Thang passed on their passion for the profession to me.

Actress Ngoc Mai has participated in several films such as: Village of single wives, Barefoot tycoon, Girls in the city... The most recent film she participated in was Rescue of Hang, co -starring with People's Artist Quoc Anh, Chien Thang, Quang Teo...

Ngoc Mai (real name Pham Thi Thu Tuoi) graduated from 2 universities, including the Foreign Trade University (Faculty of Foreign Economics ). She also worked for a famous Japanese company in Vietnam. She then dropped out to switch to fashion.

Ngoc Mai also worked as a stylist for some actors. She often visited the filming set. Seeing her model-like figure and Asian face, some directors invited her to act in films.

During the filming process, Ngoc Mai got to know and became close to Chien Thang and Quang Teo. She said : “When we went to the set, knowing that I was an amateur actor, Quang Teo and Chien Thang taught me a lot about the profession. The film we were filming was a comedy, but before filming, we sat down and talked a lot about how to act in harmony and interact gracefully with each other during the filming.”

Actress Ngoc Mai also shyly said: “My real name is Thu Tuoi, but when I entered the arts, I changed my stage name to Ngoc Mai. Because I don’t want people to think that I intentionally chose a name with the word “Tuoi” to attract attention like the artist Huong “Tuoi”. Currently, I participate in the art of acting to satisfy my passion. Although I haven’t been in the arts for too long, being able to act in a film with many famous seniors such as Quang Teo, Chien Thang, Ms. Kim Xuyen… is a great honor for me.”

“I know my starting point is that of an amateur actor, without any formal training. But I will try my best and contribute. Each role will help me gain more experience,” actress Ngoc Mai affirmed.

Despite being 40 years old and having given birth three times, Ngoc Mai still maintains her model-like figure thanks to maintaining a healthy diet, practicing yoga and gym regularly. Ngoc Mai also said that she is a fashion entrepreneur so she pays a lot of attention to her appearance.

When talking about her businessman husband, actress Ngoc Mai said : “My husband does business but he is very considerate of his wife and children. When he knew that I was involved in the arts, he always silently supported his wife and was a solid supporter. My husband is not the type of person who is jealous and wants to control his wife. Because we have been married for nearly 15 years, our relationship has lasted a long time thanks to our trust in each other. Above all, we have a strong connection thanks to our three lovely children.”
