Within just 3 days, the Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 contest had 2 consecutive contestants deciding to stop for personal reasons, just 1 week before the final night in Nha Trang.

On June 12, the Miss Universe Vietnam Organization announced that contestant Nguyen Thi Thu Thao (No. 395) officially stopped participating in the contest due to personal reasons. On June 14, contestant Truong Thi Thuy Trang (No. 483) also withdrew.

In the official announcement, the organizers praised Thu Thao for her "serious spirit, dedication and positive attitude", along with her "neat demeanor, warm heart and strong will". Meanwhile, Thuy Trang was recognized for "all her efforts, seriousness and progressive spirit", especially her "silent contributions from the stage to the backstage".

Miss Universe Vietnam - Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025 has the theme "Shoot for the moon", encouraging women to dream big and take action. The contest aims to find a Vietnamese representative to attend Miss Cosmo 2025.

The final night will take place on June 21, 2025 in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa . This year's competition has many new features, including expanding the age range of contestants from 18 to 33 years old and organizing the Carnival Costume competition on a large scale for the first time.
