TPO – The event “Ao Dai connecting tourism with Hanoi heritage in 2024” was held to honor cultural heritage values ​​and promote Hanoi tourist destinations on the morning of September 1. The event attracted the participation of hundreds of people in Ao Dai, parading through many streets, relics, and prominent destinations of the capital Hanoi.

The Ao Dai program connecting tourism and heritage took place from 5:30 a.m. on September 1, gathering more than 100 participants. All wore traditional Ao Dai to parade.

The journey started at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. Then the group of cyclists passed through historic streets such as Hoang Dieu, Dien Bien Phu, Hung Vuong, Phan Dinh Phung, and some landmarks such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Hang Dau Water Tower, Long Bien Bridge, Dong Xuan Market. The journey ended at Doan Mon, the relic site of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Tran Trung Hieu said the program is a new experience activity that attracts a large number of domestic and international tourists to the capital Hanoi, thereby stimulating tourism. "Through this activity, the capital's tourism industry creates beautiful images of Hanoi, promotes community spirit, and raises awareness of heritage protection," Mr. Hieu emphasized.
