Ahead of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 Final, Ho Ngoc Ha announced her decision to cancel her performance at the contest.
There is only 1 day left until the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 Finals will be held at Phu Tho Stadium (HCMC). Before the event, recently, Ho Ngoc Ha suddenly confirmed the cancellation of her performance at the contest.
Accordingly, Ho Ngoc Ha said: "At this time, asking to stop performing in one of the MU (Miss Universe Vietnam) competitions tomorrow is a wise decision for me. I hope the organizers and the audience will support my decision."
The news immediately caused a stir in the online community. Immediately after, Ho Ngoc Ha spoke up again, saying that the female singer would not perform but would still be present at the Final night of the competition.
On her personal page, Ho Ngoc Ha confirmed that she had discussed with the program's organizers, changing the Bikini performance to an Ao Dai performance to suit the context and humanistic content of the program.
"Instead of performing, Ha will attend the show and join the show in supporting the contestants," Ho Ngoc Ha announced.
Regarding Ho Ngoc Ha's decision as well as whether the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 Final will take place as scheduled or not, Lao Dong reporter contacted the contest's Organizing Committee to clarify. However, the Organizing Committee representative said that they could not comment on the incident.
Previously, Ho Ngoc Ha also announced the postponement of the release of the MV "Cay den genie" (scheduled to be released on September 12) and several other personal projects due to the storms, floods and natural disasters in the Northern region. The singer said she will officially return at a more appropriate time.
Besides Ho Ngoc Ha, a series of famous artists such as Tung Duong, Phuong My Chi, Vu Luan... also announced the cancellation of their performances and new product launches. Some art programs and performances also had to be canceled or postponed.
