Previously, on October 2, in the 2nd Vietnam - Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange program, the Ministry of National Defense presented 60 breeding cows, including 12 pregnant cows, to people at the Long Sap border gate (Moc Chau district, Son La province) and Pa Hang (Sop Bau district, Hua Phan province, Laos). By October 7, the first cow of Ms. Vi Thi Van's family (Bo Sap village, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province) had given birth to a calf. This is the first result of the breeding cow support program.

The program also awarded 20 "Helping you go to school" scholarships to students on both sides of the border; exchanged young officers; planted a friendship flower garden and a row of friendship trees for young officers of Vietnam - Laos at the national border marker 255; ran cross-border cross-country; gave breeding cows to people on both sides of the border...
Ms. Vi Thi Van said: When we heard the news of being supported with a breeding cow, my family was very excited. Now that the mother cow has given birth to another calf, the joy is doubled.
Recently, at Cu village (Quang Phong commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An province), Nghe An Press Tennis Club in coordination with Quang Phong commune People's Committee organized the groundbreaking ceremony to build a flood-overpass bridge to serve nearly 400 households of Cu and Tin Pu villages. |
