Of which, HRC1 Factory of Hoa Phat Dung Quat 1 Iron and Steel Production Complex reached more than 13.5 million tons. HRC2 Factory of Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Production Complex contributed nearly 1.5 million tons.

From the beginning of the second quarter to September 2025, blast furnaces No. 1 and No. 2 of the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex project will come into operation, marking the synchronous completion of the project. The output of the entire Hoa Phat Dung Quat Complex will record rapid growth in the coming time.

Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 uses technological lines from European partners, G7 such as steelmaking oxygen furnace (BOF) and RH type vacuum refining furnace of SMS (Germany), Primetals thick plate steel billet casting machine (UK) and Danieli Corus blast furnace (BF) (Netherlands). Hoa Phat invests in modern technology according to a closed-loop model, recovering all excess heat, utilizing excess coal gas in iron and steel smelting as fuel for boilers to generate electricity. This equipment system aims to achieve the highest product quality, ensuring all important production stages are operated in the best, most environmentally friendly manner with the lowest production costs.

Proud to be the only Vietnamese enterprise that can produce HRC, Hoa Phat has recently provided the market with a variety of HRC products with different widths and thicknesses according to customer needs. Hoa Phat HRC products meet a series of strict world standards such as: JIS, MS, SAE, BS EN... and are granted CE Marking - a quality certification considered a "passport" when exporting to Europe.

HRC is an important industrial steel product, the foundation and input material for many manufacturing industries such as galvanized steel, steel pipes, container shells, automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, oil and gas, mechanical engineering, household appliances, steel structures, energy, etc.

In addition to popular product lines, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex is currently researching and producing high-end HRC products. Hoa Phat Dung Quat has successfully tested the production of steel products for the household appliance and automobile body industries with steel grades belonging to the IF steel group (Steel for deep deformation of automobile bodies, household appliances, furniture, etc.) such as: DD, EDD. Steel grades serving the oil and gas industry such as: API J55, API X42, API X50, API X60, API X70. Steel for the automobile industry - making car frames, industrial machinery: S355MC, S420MC, S500MC, S600MC, S650MC, S700MC. High-strength structural steel grades: S355JR/J0/J2, Q355B/C/D...

Currently, Hoa Phat is continuing to research and closely coordinate with domestic and foreign partners to develop other high-end product lines such as steel for the automotive industry, electrical engineering steel (grades DP, Martenxit, M15, M19, M22, M36, M43...)

Hoa Phat Group is the largest steel producer in Southeast Asia, equivalent to the Top 30 largest steel enterprises in the world. From 2026, Hoa Phat's steel production capacity will reach 16 million tons/year, including 9 million tons of HRC steel, high-quality steel, contributing to fully meeting the needs of domestic and foreign markets.
