The Association of War Veterans of Vinh Hung Ward currently has 1,635 members, operating in 25 branches. In the past term, the Association of War Veterans of the Ward has achieved many remarkable results in all aspects of work: 100% of branches maintained regular activities, of which 22/25 branches achieved the title of "Clean and Strong"; 128 new members were admitted, bringing the total number of members to 1,642 before the merger. Participating in Party and government building, there are 215 party members, of which 38 comrades participated in the Party Committee, People's Council, Fatherland Front and local political and social organizations.

Regarding the patriotic emulation movement, 1,420 members achieved the title of “Exemplary Member”; 23 groups and individuals were awarded at the district and city levels. The Association mobilized members to contribute more than 150 million VND to solidarity activities, supporting 18 members in difficult circumstances.

Regarding traditional education activities, the Association coordinated with the Youth Union to organize 6 traditional talks, attracting more than 800 union members and young people to attend; organized visits and gave gifts to 35 policy families on the occasion of holidays and Tet. In the new term, the Association of War Veterans of Vinh Hung Ward has determined the motto of action: "Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation - Efficiency". The Association will continue to promote its core role in patriotic emulation movements, actively participate in Party and government building, care for the lives of members, contribute to maintaining political stability and developing the local economy and society.

Identifying the main targets include: 100% of members have a steadfast political stance, comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; striving to admit 20-30 new members each year; 100% of branches achieve the title of "Clean and Strong"; over 90% of members achieve the title of "Exemplary Member".

Speaking at the Congress, Party Secretary and Chairman of Vinh Hung Ward People's Council Nguyen Duc Dung praised the results the Association has achieved in patriotic emulation movements, especially the "Exemplary Veterans" movement, actively participating in Party and government building, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.

The Association has also cared for and helped members improve their lives, mobilized comradeship funds; participated in educating the younger generation about revolutionary traditions; and built a great national unity bloc.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, with the requirement to constantly innovate content and methods of operation to suit the new context, comrade Nguyen Duc Dung believes that the Ward Veterans Association will continue to promote tradition, solidarity, innovation, exemplary, pioneering, and well perform a number of key tasks:

Firstly, constantly consolidate and build a clean and strong Association; take care of developing members in both quantity and quality.

Second, promote the role of war veterans in maintaining political security, social order and safety, actively participating in the movement of national solidarity to build a cultural life and civilized urban areas.

Third, continue to take care of material and spiritual life, do a good job of "Comradely love", and protect the legitimate rights and interests of members.

Fourth, pay attention to educating the young generation about revolutionary traditions, contributing to building a next generation loyal to the ideals of the Party, the Fatherland and the People.

Fifth, advising the Fatherland Front and closely coordinating with socio-political organizations, participating in Party building and building an increasingly strong government, this is a task that the Party Committee truly expects and expects from the Ward Veterans Association.
