Mrs. Truc knew that Phuong had gone to see a doctor, so she asked Thuan about her condition. Thuan honestly shared that Phuong's health was not serious, but she still refused to open up to her mother.
"The whole way home, she was sullen and silent. No matter what I asked, she didn't say anything. It was as if... I was her enemy," Thuan sadly told his mother. "If Phuong kept being like this, I would go crazy."
Mrs. Truc comforted her daughter and advised her to calm down because Phuong had been under a lot of pressure for a long time and could not change immediately. When she asked about Khang, Thuan had to lie so that his mother would not worry.
