Students enjoy learning 'the truth about instant noodles'

Have a new perspective

Welcoming the students, staff of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company took souvenir photos for them when they first came to the factory.

Through the introduction, students learn about the ingredients of a noodle package, the main ingredient is wheat flour, the yellow color is mixed with turmeric powder and can distinguish between fried noodles (fried with palm oil) and non-fried noodles (heat-dried).

The important thing when noodles are fried with palm oil, the heat of the oil from the steam, thereby controlling the heat and oxidation in the oil. In addition, the quantity of dried vegetable packages, oil packages depends on the volume of noodles. In which, the oil package makes the characteristic flavor of noodles.

Every raw material used to produce noodles is quality tested. And to balance the nutrition when enjoying instant noodles, users need to eat more vegetables, shrimp and meat.

Student Duong Tran Nhat Minh (grade 12A7) said he was excited and surprised when visiting the modern factory, the staff welcomed him very warmly.

"Before, I also thought that instant noodles were harmful to health, but after visiting and learning more information, I realized that the product is safe and good.

This is the first time I have been able to go on a field trip, which helps me broaden my knowledge and learn about the scale of the factory. In addition, it helps me increase my understanding and add more information to my lessons. Most of my class chooses the health, technology and food sectors. Going on a field trip helps us gain more knowledge to support our future studies" - Nhat Minh said.

Student Nguyen Hong Bao Ngoc (grade 10A1) shared: "I had a change in my awareness when I visited the factory, I learned that instant noodles are not toxic.

I learned that the company is from Japan and has a long history. I was very excited to participate in answering questions, receiving gifts, and enjoying noodles... Through that, I boldly raised my hand to speak, interacted with the presenter, and became more confident in interacting with friends."

Give you more knowledge

Mr. Nguyen Tri Thuan - teacher at Ernst Thälmann High School, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City - said that there were 37 students visiting, divided equally among the grades.

"When you come here to visit the factory, you will be very happy and excited. Through the trip, you will gain a lot of good knowledge. It will help you to be more confident in speaking in front of a crowd and be more presentable.

Through that, we also provide career orientation for you, not only working in the factory but also in the stages of introducing and promoting products... there will definitely be a direction for choosing a career in the future. I was also very happy and surprised to come here, a professional and magnificent headquarters. Hopefully there will be more similar trips for you" - Mr. Thuan confided.

Nguyen Trinh Nhac Tran (10A6 student) shared: "I feel lucky and honored to be here. I know that noodles are not dangerous and are produced in large quantities.

The tour helped me experience social activities, learn more knowledge and share with everyone. Through the trip, I met a few more seniors in the school to confidently communicate and expand relationships, and learn more about observing things."
