People's Police Academy announced enrollment quotas for 4 regions

According to information from the People's Police Academy on February 25, in 2024, the academy's enrollment quota will continue to be divided by location and gender. Specifically, 477 males and 53 females will be recruited for the police professional group.

Region 1 recruits 210 students (189 males and 21 females), region 2 recruits 200 students (180 males and 20 females), region 3 recruits 100 students (90 males and 10 females), region 8 recruits 20 students (18 males and 2 females).

In which, region 1 is the northern mountainous provinces (10 provinces): Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai , Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.

Region 2 includes the provinces and cities of the Northern Delta and midlands (15 provinces and cities), including: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh , Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh.

Region 3 is the North Central provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue.

Northern Region 8 consists of conscripts stationed from Thua Thien Hue province and beyond of units A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

According to the academy, if the university quota in the enrollment area (according to each exam combination) is not met, the school will transfer the quota to consider candidates from the remaining enrollment areas in the Northern region, from high to low.

In addition, the People's Police Academy announced the recruitment of 100 students (90 male, 10 female) for the second degree program, police professional group, from Thua Thien Hue and beyond.

Specific admission methods will be announced by the school later.

In 2023, the People's Police Academy will enroll students by three methods, including: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security; Admission based on a combination of international language certificates with graduation exam scores; Admission based on a combination of graduation exam scores with the Ministry of Public Security's competency assessment test scores.

Last year, the admission score based on the combination of high school graduation exam scores and capacity assessment of the People's Police Academy ranged from 16.15 to 24.78, the highest admission score for female candidates in admission region number 3.

This level is calculated by the formula:

Total score of three graduation exam subjects *2/5 + Assessment exam score *3/5 + Priority points according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training + Bonus points for national excellent students.
