Competition to welcome the congress

At the end of 2024, Cam Chau Ward People's Committee launched an emulation campaign to welcome the 21st Ward Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030), party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and important holidays of the homeland and country in 2025.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong - Chairman of Cam Chau Ward People's Committee, the emulation campaign was organized to create a vibrant atmosphere among the people and cadres of the whole ward. Thereby, actively responding to and participating in the implementation of socio -economic development tasks, ensuring local defense and security in 2025 and cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities in the ward and residential blocks.

The emulation contents launched by Cam Chau ward include mobilizing people and officials in the residential block to attend all meetings organized by the ward People's Committee; responding to the implementation of "Civilized lifestyle, urban beauty", planting trees, and classifying waste at source. Cam Chau will repair cultural houses in the ward to welcome the 21st Congress of the ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030...

“This is a very meaningful emulation campaign, so the entire political system from the ward to the residential block, agencies, units, schools in the area, Party cells, military and civilian authorities of the residential blocks are determined to implement it and mobilize people to respond and participate. At the end of the emulation campaign, the Ward People's Committee will consider rewarding collectives and individuals with many outstanding achievements in the process of deploying and implementing the activities" - Ms. Hong said.

Welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 19th City Party Congress, the 23rd Provincial Party Congress, the 14th National Party Congress; welcoming the 9th Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress, the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, the People's Committee of Hoi An City issued a directive on promoting the patriotic emulation movement.

In particular, the city requires focusing on mobilizing resources to invest in infrastructure construction, speeding up the construction progress of key works and projects in the city. Resolutely speeding up the disbursement of public investment capital and 3 national target programs; socio-economic development, new rural construction, ensuring social security, sustainable poverty reduction..., contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks in 2024, 2025 and the 5-year plan (2021 - 2025).

Ensuring a successful congress itinerary

Currently, many communes and wards in Hoi An have organized congresses of affiliated party cells for the 2025-2027 term such as Thanh Tay block (Cam Chau ward), Phuoc Hai block (Cua Dai ward), Xuan My block (Tan An ward) along with congresses of affiliated party cells in a number of agencies and units.

Localities, agencies and units are also continuing to direct and organize grassroots congresses. According to the plan, in the second half of February 2025, Cam Pho ward will organize a model congress of communes and wards and the Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Conservation will organize a model congress of agencies and units. It is expected that in mid-July 2025, the 19th Hoi An City Party Congress will take place.

Along with focusing on successfully organizing party congresses at all levels towards the 19th City Party Congress, the Standing Committee of the Hoi An City Party Committee has directed to step up propaganda about the congress. Thereby encouraging and motivating the entire Party, people and army to promote patriotism, self-reliance, strength of the great national unity bloc, and compete to successfully implement resolutions of party congresses at all levels.

“The political report of the 19th City Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030) has been drafted for the first time and will be issued for grassroots party organizations, first of all the two grassroots party organizations that held congresses to give comments during the congress. As soon as possible, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will organize conferences to collect comments from many components on the draft political report” - said Mr. Tran Anh - Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hoi An City.
