Fall Fair 2025 - The first "three best" fair in Vietnam

The Government Office issued Notice No. 536/TB-VPCP dated October 5, 2025, concluding the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son at the meeting of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Autumn Fair.

The announcement stated that the 2025 Autumn Fair is the first Fair in Vietnam, organized on the largest scale (with about 3,000 booths), at the largest and most modern Center (area of about 100,000m2) and with the largest number of participants (all 34 provinces and cities, Ministries, branches, relevant agencies, Corporations, General Companies and private enterprises, domestic and foreign enterprises are all mobilized to participate).

It is necessary to organize the 2025 Autumn Fair (Fair) on a large scale.

The fair will be a concentrated trade promotion channel, aiming to stimulate consumption, boost production and business, expand import and export, attract a large number of businesses and consumers to participate, making an important contribution to achieving the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, Head of the Steering Committee, highly appreciated the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi People's Committee and Vingroup Corporation for their coordination in a short time to complete the draft implementation plan, prepare for the organization of the 2025 Autumn Fair and promptly disseminate it to localities, ministries, branches and relevant agencies.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested that research be conducted so that similar Fairs can be maintained and organized annually; assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to continue developing a project to not only organize the Fair in the Fall, but also in the Summer, Spring...; not only worthy of the national level but also gradually reaching the regional and international level.

Agree on a plan to ensure security, order, environmental sanitation, health, and food safety before October 10.

In order to organize the 2025 Autumn Fair with quality and success according to the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 172/CD-TTg dated September 25, 2025 on organizing the 2025 Autumn Fair, the Steering Committee requests the Ministers, Heads of agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities, Chairmen and General Directors of State-owned Corporations and Groups, members of the Steering Committee and relevant agencies and units to focus on directing the implementation of assigned tasks and work to ensure progress, quality and efficiency; focusing on the following key contents:

Relevant ministries, agencies, localities and units speed up the implementation of assigned tasks and duties in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Steering Committee and the set plan, ensuring quality and progress.

Pursuant to the guidance of the Ministry of Finance in Official Dispatch No. 15292/BTC-QLDT dated October 2, 2025, proactively select contractors to carry out work serving the organization of the 2025 Autumn Fair in the assigned subdivision.

The Hanoi People's Committee presides over and coordinates with the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company to agree on a plan to ensure security, order, absolute safety, fire and explosion prevention, landscape assurance, environmental sanitation, health, food safety and hygiene, and specifically notify the responsible unit, contact person name, hotline... before October 10.

Localities urgently contact Vietnam Exhibition Fair Joint Stock Company to receive the site no later than October 6, 2025; at the same time, proactively develop a design, staging, and construction plan right at the subdivision "Autumn in Vietnam - Autumn colors and fragrance."

Urgently build and complete the overall design, zoning, and floor plan of the Fair.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade fully absorbs the opinions of the Government Standing Committee at the meeting on October 2, 2025 and the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, urgently completes the Project to organize the Autumn Fair 2025 and reports to the Head of the Steering Committee for consideration and comments.

Focus on directing, directly working, and closely coordinating with Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company to urgently build and complete the overall design, subdivisions, and floor plan of the Fair to ensure quality, progress, meet the requirements and have full legal basis according to law; The Ministry of Industry and Trade is responsible for appraising and approving the overall design and subdivisions according to its authority.

At the same time, preside over and coordinate with Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company to notify other arising costs (if any) so that ministries, branches and localities can develop cost estimates; urge agencies and units to start construction, ensuring construction time is appropriate to the workload of each unit.

The Ministry of Finance, based on the synthesis and proposal report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the need for financial support of ministries, branches and localities (if any), shall urgently propose and report to competent authorities for consideration and decision no later than October 10, 2025, in accordance with the provisions of law on the state budget and relevant laws, ensuring effective savings, avoiding waste and negativity; in accordance with the balancing capacity of the state budget.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presides over and coordinates with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Hanoi People's Committee and Vietnam Television to agree on the duration and script of the Closing Program, report to the Head of the Steering Committee for reporting to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision; coordinates with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to provide information to media agencies, newspapers and radio stations before, during and after the Fair (hold a press conference 10 days in advance).

Vingroup Corporation and Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company urgently complete the overall design and floor plan of the sub-areas to serve as a basis for ministries, branches and localities to specify the design of each sub-area, unify the general identity of the entire Fair; carefully review and prepare sufficient infrastructure conditions for units to construct, set up and deploy the Fair's activities; coordinate, guide and create all conditions for contractors to implement; provide technical requirements for the Ministry of Industry and Trade, relevant agencies and units to manage and operate infrastructure during the Fair.

At the same time, closely coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and agencies, units and localities to resolve issues related to the organization of the Fair to better serve the people and visitors./.
