Attending the meeting were Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, leaders of central ministries, branches and localities.
At the meeting, the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported on the progress of preparations for the Fair; ministries, branches and localities contributed opinions to complete the Conference organization project to submit to competent authorities for promulgation.
Vingroup Corporation announced sponsorship of a consulting package for overall design, detailed design, identification system, floor plan of each subdivision, and free use of premises and costs for electricity, water, sanitation, and security services.
The 2025 Autumn Fair is scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 26. The Fair is expected to cover the entire Kim Quy Exhibition Hall in Dong Anh, Hanoi, with a fair floor area of up to 100,000 m2, corresponding to 3,000 standard booths.
The fair aims to create a concentrated trade promotion channel, create an environment to connect supply and demand, stimulate consumption, promote production and business, expand import and export and attract investment, contributing to achieving the growth target of over 8% in 2025, creating a solid foundation for the 2026-2030 period.
After listening to the opinions of ministries, branches and localities, concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son highly appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which in a short time coordinated with ministries, branches, Hanoi City and Vingroup Corporation to develop a Project to organize the Fair and disseminate it to localities for comments.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that this will be the largest fair ever; the largest number of participants will be mobilized, including all ministries, sectors, provinces and cities, and the business community, including state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and FDI enterprises; and at the same time, it must be the most unique fair in terms of products and goods.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested that it be clearly understood that the Fair is not only for displaying and promoting products but more importantly for commercializing, signing contracts, and selling products from regions across the country.

Emphasizing the huge amount of preparation work while the opening day is only more than 3 weeks away, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to absorb the opinions of the Government Standing Committee on October 2 and the opinions at today's meeting, complete the Project to organize the Autumn Fair 2025 to submit to the Head of the Fair Steering Committee for approval on October 4.
Due to the large amount of work and limited time remaining, the Deputy Prime Minister directed Vietnam Exhibition Joint Stock Company (VEC) to urgently complete the overall design and diagram of the sub-areas by October 6 at the latest to serve as a basis for ministries, branches and localities to specify the design of each sub-area and unify the overall identity of the entire Fair.
Localities must send focal officers to urgently contact VEC to receive the site, no later than October 6, and proactively develop design and construction plans immediately.
Ministries, branches and localities shall base on the guidance of the Ministry of Finance in Official Dispatch No. 1592/BTC-QLDT dated October 2, 2025 to proactively select contractors to carry out the work of organizing the Fair in the assigned sub-areas. VEC guides, coordinates, provides technical requirements, and creates all conditions for contractors to perform.

For localities that need financial support from the central budget in addition to the self-balancing source from the local budget, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that localities send the budget estimates to the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the morning of October 4.
Before October 6, Vingroup Corporation and VEC will notify in writing the expenses, if any, so that ministries, branches and localities can develop cost estimates.
Regarding security, safety, environmental sanitation, food hygiene, and healthcare, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Hanoi People's Committee and VEC to be responsible for ensuring absolute safety.
Regarding propaganda work, the Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to proactively provide information to press agencies, especially Vietnam News Agency, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam Television, and the Government Electronic Information Portal so that press agencies can spread information before, during and after the Fair.
After this Fair, the Deputy Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to study upgrading the Autumn Fair to regional and international level./.
