Conference of Youth Union members of Long Phu PTS Thermal Power Project Board for the 2025-2027 term

On the morning of September 12, 2025, the Youth Union of PTSC Long Phu Thermal Power Project Board (PTSC Long Phu), under the Youth Union of Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), held a Youth Union meeting for the 2025-2027 term. The meeting has special significance when adjusting the term according to the general policy of the Central Youth Union, in the context of the entire political system determined to implement Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate, streamline the organization, operate effectively and efficiently; at the same time, ensuring unity and synchronization with the plan to organize Congresses at all levels.

  At the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Trung Tinh, Secretary of PTSC Long Phu Youth Union presented a report on the results of the Youth Union and youth movement since the beginning of the 2024-2027 term, and at the same time proposed directions and tasks for the new term. Since the beginning of the term, under the direct leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Branch leadership and the Standing Committee of the PTSC Corporation Youth Union, the Youth Union Executive Committee has promoted the spirit of youth initiative and creativity, striving to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

In particular, many outstanding activities were deployed such as: actively advising and performing professional tasks to contribute to completing the unit's planning targets; proposing 3 youth projects to the Corporation's Youth Union for approval; 2 union members won prizes in the "Proud of the Party's history - PTSC firmly reaches out" contest; planting 50 trees in Youth Month 3/2025; giving 50 gifts to children in difficult circumstances at the Social Protection Center and Phuoc Son Pagoda ( Soc Trang province, now Can Tho city) on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1.

The Youth Union also coordinated to participate in the 2025 Summer Volunteer Campaign Launch Ceremony of the Youth Union of the Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group ( Petrovietnam ) at the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project; together with the Trade Union, organized activities to honor War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27; participated in programs to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of Petrovietnam's establishment (September 3, 1975 - September 3, 2025). The work of building the Youth Union organization was also focused on by training and introducing 1 outstanding member to participate in the Party sympathy class. At the same time, the Youth Union actively participated in activities to celebrate the success of the Congress of Delegates of the Party Committee of PTSC Corporation, term 2025-2030 and the 4th Congress of Delegates of the Party Committee of the Group, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Ho Si Nhat Thai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of PTSC Long Phu Trade Union acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Youth Union in the past time; at the same time, oriented a number of key activities in the coming time so that the Youth Union can continue to contribute more to the completion of the unit's production, business and political tasks.

The conference also enthusiastically discussed and supplemented the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the Youth Union's work in the new term, based on the study and absorption of the Resolution of the Party Congress at the same level. As a result, the conference unanimously voted to adjust the term of the Youth Union to 2025-2027 and maintain the personnel of the Executive Committee for the term 2024-2027 (approved by the Corporation's Youth Union) to continue in the new term. At the same time, the conference elected 4 official delegates to attend the 5th Congress of the Youth Union of Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Joint Stock Corporation, term 2025-2030.

The PTSC Long Phu Youth Union Conference for the 2025-2027 term took place in a spirit of democracy, solidarity and responsibility. The Conference results affirmed the determination of the unit's youth in promoting their pioneering and creative role, accompanying political tasks and production and business, contributing to the common success of PTSC and the Group in the new development period./.
