Conference on coordination of propaganda between Lam Dong Newspaper and PTTH with communes and wards

Comrade Le Huy Toan, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Lam Dong Newspaper and Television chaired the conference. On the local side, the conference was attended by leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of 13 communes and wards: Tanh Linh, Son My, Tan Hai, Nghi Duc, Dong Kho, Suoi Kiet, Nam Thanh, Hoai Duc, Tra Tan, Duc Linh, Bac Ruong, La Gi, Phuoc Hoi.

At the conference, comrade Le Huy Toan, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Lam Dong Newspaper and Television, said that after merging from 6 press agencies of 3 provinces, Lam Dong Newspaper and Television is the main press agency of the province, with modern technical infrastructure, a team of reporters, engineers, skilled technicians, and many types of journalism. Thereby helping to promote and spread more strongly the image of the land, people, historical traditions, potentials, strengths, calling for investment in developing industry, trade, services, and tourism of localities.

The Editor-in-Chief of Lam Dong Newspaper and Television affirmed that propaganda is an extremely important political task of Lam Dong Newspaper and Television, assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee. Lam Dong Newspaper and Television is also a partially autonomous public service unit, to ensure funding for operations and improve the quality of press products, it needs the support of localities in the province.

At the conference, the leaders of the communes, wards, Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio and Television highly agreed on the contents of coordination in the coming time on the principle of ensuring accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness, serving the common political task. The focus is on disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, information on the local economic, cultural, social, security and defense situation to the majority of people and domestic and foreign investors. At the same time, introducing the potential and strengths of the local socio-economic development, promptly orienting information and public opinion, contributing to maintaining the stability and development of the locality.

Lam Dong Newspaper and PTTH together with communes and wards expressed their determination to unify and make efforts to implement the signed contents with the highest efficiency.

Regarding funding, Lam Dong Newspaper and PTTH will support 50% of the total funding value for localities to implement in order to bring about the highest efficiency in communication work, contributing to economic and social development. Localities also agreed to prioritize resources to coordinate propaganda with Lam Dong Newspaper and PTTH, and at the same time balance to include in the 2026 budget.

Through discussion and agreement, Lam Dong Newspaper and PTTH with communes and wards signed a program to coordinate information and propaganda work in the coming time.
