In 2024, the entire industry has been proactive, innovative, creative, focused on advising and assisting the Central Executive Committee, directly and regularly the Politburo , the Central Party Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels to strengthen leadership and direction to effectively implement Party building work in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda fields, achieving outstanding results.

The entire sector has proactively summarized practices, researched theories, developed projects and scientific topics, and submitted new documents to the Politburo and Secretariat with specific viewpoints, policies and solutions to lead and direct all aspects and fields of Party building in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda work.

Thereby, raising awareness of Party committees at all levels about the role and importance of Party building work in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics to lead and direct the effective implementation of this important field. The organization of research, study, dissemination, propaganda, and implementation of resolutions, directives, conclusions, and regulations of the Party are carried out more seriously, ensuring timeliness, efficiency, and quality.

Political education work; grasping and orienting the thoughts and moods of cadres, party members, and public opinion; fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; preventing and handling bad and toxic information, especially on cyberspace, has many innovations, contributing significantly to improving the level of political theory, mettle, and correct and steadfast political ideology for cadres and party members; creating high unity within the Party and consensus in society regarding major policies and decisions of the Party and State.

The work of Party building on ethics has been carried out synchronously. The whole sector has effectively organized the implementation of studying and following Uncle Ho's example and initially put into practice Regulation No. 144-QD/TW dated May 9, 2024 of the Politburo on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period.

Propaganda, press - publishing, and foreign information work continue to be innovated in terms of content and methods. Cultural, artistic, and scientific work continues to be innovated in the direction of closely following reality, implementing synchronously and comprehensively in all areas of social life; well implementing the Party's policies and orientations in all areas.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Propaganda sector in the past year. He emphasized that 2025 will see many important events of the Party and the country. It is the year of holding party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, and at the same time, it is also the year of implementing many new policies and guidelines of the Party and State, especially the task of accelerating and breaking through to complete the goals set by the 13th National Party Congress.

He suggested that the entire industry focus on advising the Party Committee to lead and direct the implementation of ideological work, propaganda, dissemination, and serious and effective implementation of the Party's and the political system's key policies and tasks in 2025.

Along with that, doing well the political and ideological work, creating high unity in the entire political system, consensus among the people on policies, requirements, and tasks of arranging and streamlining the apparatus organization according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on some issues on continuing to innovate and arrange the apparatus organization of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient.

From there, we must raise political determination and resolutely and effectively reorganize the apparatus with the requirement that the new apparatus must be better than the old one and be put into operation immediately; without interruption of work, without gaps in time, without empty areas or fields, and without affecting the normal activities of society and the people.

The Propaganda Department needs to actively participate in drafting documents for Party congresses at all levels with specific directions, goals, and tasks, contributing to the country's common goals in the coming period; advise Party committees to organize for cadres and Party members to research and contribute to documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress; collect and receive comments and contributions from scientists, intellectuals, and people of all walks of life to supplement and perfect documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress.

The Propaganda Department needs to proactively guide and advise on propaganda work, thoroughly grasp and organize the timely and quality implementation of resolutions, directives and conclusions in the field of science and technology, especially the work of preventing and combating epidemics, natural disasters, environmental pollution, taking care of people's health, etc., linking science and technology work with economic development, ensuring social security and welfare.
