Conference to review sponsorship work in 2024

On December 19, the Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans held a meeting to summarize activities in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

Leaders of the Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Vietnam to collectives with outstanding achievements in 2024.

In 2024, the Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans maintained regular activities, strengthened connections, and coordinated with many individuals, businesses, organizations, and volunteer groups inside and outside the province to mobilize support in cash and kind for people with disabilities, orphans, and the poor in the province.

During the year, the Association organized sponsorship activities for nearly 3,500 disabled people, orphans, and the poor with a total value of nearly 4 billion VND with activities such as: Coordinating Tet gift giving; awarding scholarships; donating bicycles; organizing physical disability screening, orthopedic surgery, providing free medicine, and cataract surgery for the Association's beneficiaries.

In addition, the Association also mobilized connections and coordinated resources to support the subjects and people affected by floods caused by storm No. 3 in the province with a total budget of more than 1.3 billion VND; coordinated to organize the Provincial Delegation to attend the 6th National Conference to honor people with disabilities, orphans, and outstanding sponsors in Hanoi .

In 2025, the Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans will maintain effective operations; continue to carry out 6 key tasks of the Association; focus on mobilizing resources, developing and building the association's fund; improve efficiency and expand forms of protection for people with disabilities and orphans, contributing to helping them integrate into the community.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were commended for their outstanding achievements in sponsoring people with disabilities and orphans in 2024.
