Mobile propaganda contest to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh trail

This evening, April 20, in Ta Rut commune, Dakrong district, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province to organize a mobile propaganda contest to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh trail - the traditional day of Truong Son soldiers May 19 (1959 - 2024).

Participating in the art program to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail - the traditional day of the Truong Son Army in Dakrong district were 5 mobile propaganda groups from the provinces: An Giang , Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Tay Ninh and Thai Nguyen.

At the competition night, the groups brought to the program elaborately and uniquely staged singing, dancing and music performances to propagate the importance, historical significance and outstanding contributions of Group 559 - Truong Son Troops, Ho Chi Minh Trail in the cause of national liberation and the glorious performance of international duties. At the same time, promoting the miracle of Ho Chi Minh Trail and the tradition of Truong Son Troops in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today.

The contest is an opportunity to praise the tradition of patriotism, national pride, self-reliance, and the will to overcome difficulties and challenges of our army and people under the leadership of the Party to create the legendary Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh trail.

Through the contest, we aim to pay tribute to the great contributions and achievements of generations of heroes, Truong Son soldiers, frontline workers, youth volunteers, transport workers, artists, and people of all ethnic groups who participated, served in combat, and performed duties on Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail during the resistance war against the US to save the country, and typical examples of young people contributing their strength and youth to the cause of building and developing the homeland and the country.

This is also an opportunity to introduce the country's economic , cultural, social, and national defense achievements; to introduce, promote, and develop the unique and typical traditional cultural and artistic values ​​of the locality. The competition program attracted a large number of people, officers, and soldiers to enjoy and cheer, and left a good impression on the public.

The mobile propaganda contest to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail - the traditional day of the Truong Son Troops was held from April 19 to 27, 2024 with the participation of 22 mobile propaganda teams from the Cultural Center, Cultural - Cinema Center, Cultural - Art Center of provinces and cities across the country.

The contest opened at the Rear Square towards the front line in Tan Ky town, Tan Ky district, Nghe An province on the evening of April 19 and closed at the stage of Binh Duong New City Park, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province on the evening of April 27.

During the period from April 20 to 26, the competition will tour to serve the people in 31 districts and cities in 12 provinces: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc and Binh Duong.
