More than 1,000 delegates attended the 2025 National Anesthesia and Resuscitation Scientific Conference in Hue

Attending the conference were Standing Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai; Professor, Doctor, Doctor Nguyen Quoc Kinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Anesthesia and Resuscitation and more than 1,000 delegates who are professors, doctors, experts, leading scientists in the field of anesthesia and resuscitation, domestic and foreign postgraduate students and businesses operating in the medical field.

Professor, Doctor, Physician Nguyen Quoc Kinh - President of Vietnam Association of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Professor Nguyen Quoc Kinh said: Modern technology is contributing to fundamentally changing the approach and treatment in anesthesia and resuscitation. Automatic vital signs monitoring systems, artificial intelligence (AI) to support clinical decisions, smart anesthesia management software, as well as highly integrated anesthesia equipment are being applied more and more widely, helping to improve the quality of care, minimize risks and improve treatment outcomes for patients.

According to Professor Nguyen Quoc Kinh, anesthesiology is one of the majors that plays a pivotal role in the modern healthcare system, not only ensuring patient safety during surgical interventions but also playing a central role in emergency resuscitation, intensive care and chronic pain treatment.

The conference attracted more than 1,000 delegates including professors, doctors, experts and leading scientists in the field of anesthesia and resuscitation.

“This year's conference is an opportunity for the domestic and international professional community to share knowledge and experience, and update advanced scientific achievements, especially in the context of strong digital transformation in healthcare,” Professor Nguyen Quoc Kinh emphasized.

The conference took place over two days, September 26-27, with pre-conference sessions: seminars, talks and in-depth workshops, focusing on topics such as modern anesthesia, intensive care, pain control, regional anesthesia, post-operative care and patient safety.

On September 27, at the plenary session, delegates focused on discussing and presenting key scientific reports presented by prestigious speakers and experts from home and abroad.

Delegates participate in the exhibition space of medical products, technology, equipment and pharmaceuticals.

In addition to scientific activities, the conference also held a specialized exhibition, displaying products, technologies, equipment and medical pharmaceuticals from many domestic and foreign enterprises. This is a space connecting scientists, doctors and units providing advanced medical technology solutions, contributing to promoting cooperation and technology transfer in the medical field.
