More than 2,300 job and internship opportunities for students majoring in technology and engineering

On October 4, at the University of Technology - Vietnam National University (VNU) Ho Chi Minh City, the Bach Khoa Career Fair 2025 opened, gathering more than 140 domestic and foreign enterprises and corporations, bringing nearly 2,300 job and internship opportunities to students.

For the first time, 25 businesses from Hyogo province (Japan) came to directly interview candidates, creating a new mark on the scale and attraction of the largest career fair in the Southern region.

Mr. Shiomi Akihiro, Director of the Department of Industry, Employment and International Relations of Hyogo Prefecture (Japan) said that the locality is very interested in recruiting Vietnamese students, especially students from the University of Technology - VNU -HCM City.

“The businesses participating in the fair all meet the criteria for accepting foreign workers, from the working environment, benefits to living conditions. We also aim to expand internship programs and training cooperation with the school,” said Mr. Shiomi Akihiro.

This year's job fair attracted 25 businesses from Hyogo province (Japan) to come directly to Vietnam to interview candidates for the first time.

Recruitment positions are spread across many fields such as mechanics, electricity - electronics, automation, information technology, chemistry, energy, transportation and technical infrastructure. Of which, the mechanical, electricity - electronics, chemistry and computer industries recorded the highest recruitment demand.

Besides the presence of Japanese enterprises, many large domestic and foreign corporations such as Masan , MiTek Vietnam, Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa, LG Innotek, LG Display also recruit hundreds of positions, demonstrating the great demand for high-quality technical human resources.

Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Ky Phuong Ha, Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, said: “The job fair not only brings career opportunities to students but also helps them to directly contact the real recruitment environment and better understand the requirements of businesses. The fact that Japanese businesses come to Vietnam for direct interviews shows the attractiveness of Vietnamese technical human resources in the international market.”

In addition to recruitment activities, students also participate in many practical programs such as direct interviews with more than 90 businesses, exhibitions of more than 1,000 internship recruitment information and 160 job booths, the "CV Help Check" program to support students in completing professional profiles, the workshop "Schools and businesses in implementing the Innovation and Entrepreneurship training model", the Talent Candidate Search competition, and simulation of the actual recruitment process.

After 16 years of organization, the Polytechnic Career Fair has become a prestigious brand in connecting students with businesses, contributing to helping thousands of young engineers access career opportunities each year.
