More than 250 union members and youths participated in the flag-raising ceremony "I love my Fatherland"

On August 16, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of An Giang province held a flag-raising ceremony with the theme "I love my Fatherland", aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The flag-raising ceremony was held at Phu Gia sea-view square, Rach Gia ward (An Giang province), with more than 250 delegates including officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police and union members and youth of universities and colleges in the area, Vinh Thong ward Youth Union and officers and civil servants of provincial agencies and enterprises participating.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union of An Giang province, Thi Phuong Hong, emphasized: "This is an opportunity for each of us, especially the youth, to look back at the heroic history of the nation, to deepen the sacred values of independence, freedom and peace , thereby adding strength, faith and aspiration to build a rich and beautiful homeland."
