More than 500 gifts sent to policy families

HNN.VN - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Women's Union at all levels in the city has implemented many practical and meaningful activities to show gratitude to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

Visit and give gifts to policy families

In July 2025, the Association at all levels promoted propaganda and education on the tradition of "Drinking water, remember its source" among cadres, members and people; contributing to raising awareness, fostering patriotism and responsibility towards the community.

Social security activities were widely deployed, typically: Organizing visits and giving more than 500 gifts with a total value of over 150 million VND to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and policy families in the city; "Gratitude Meal" program - going to the market, cooking a meal and eating with policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution...

The Association's branches also simultaneously launched a campaign to clean up the environment, decorate martyrs' cemeteries, and martyrs' memorial areas associated with the "Green Sunday" movement to express deep gratitude...

Through these activities, the Hue City Women's Union has promoted its role and responsibility in gratitude work, contributing to spreading good humanistic values ​​in the community.
