(Baothanhhoa.vn) - According to information from the Forward Command in the center of the mountainous area, as of 4 p.m. on August 25, communes in the area of ​​5 old mountainous districts, including: Muong Lat, Quan Son, Quan Hoa, Ba Thuoc, Lang Chanh have completed the evacuation of people living in areas at high risk of natural disasters due to storm No. 5.

Accordingly, a total of 711 households have been relocated. The relocation started from the end of the boundary this morning. Of which, Muong Ly commune relocated the largest number of households with 131 households. Next is Tam Thanh commune with 74 households, Trung Son commune with 70 households... Notably, among the relocated households, 521 households voluntarily moved to live with relatives in safe places. This confirms that the local Party Committee, government and functional forces have proactively planned, well organized propaganda and mobilization work and raised people's awareness.
