Storm No. 10 caused great damage to Cua Lo Ward, Nghe An Province. According to the People's Committee of Cua Lo Ward: Storm No. 10 combined with high tides caused localized flooding in many residential areas, many roads were flooded from 20 - 80 cm. Many trees were tilted and broken, obstructing traffic on main roads such as National Highway 46, Nguyen Sinh Cung Street, Binh Minh Street...

In the whole ward, 845 houses had their roofs and corrugated iron roofs blown off with an area of 12,670m2; 13 households had their fences collapsed with a length of 195m; 821 households had their houses flooded and damaged equipment (refrigerators, washing machines, motorbikes, etc.).
About 5 hectares of vegetables were flooded and 5,000 square meters of greenhouses were damaged, the damage has not been assessed yet. All ships anchored in the ward are safe, but one ship was flooded and sank at the storm shelter in Ha Tinh.
The Binh Minh Square area was damaged by the waves by about 1,000 square meters. The ward People's Committee headquarters had 550 square meters of roof blown off, and 100 meters of fence collapsed. The schools had 3,185 square meters of roof blown off.

The lighting pole system in the square area and on Binh Minh Street had 31 poles broken; the decorative electric system on the streets was broken and damaged. There were 128 household electric poles broken, 38 poles tilted, 6 medium voltage poles broken, 4 poles tilted.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Vice Chairman of Cua Lo Ward People's Committee said: After the storm, the Ward People's Committee deployed forces and equipment to cut down broken and fallen trees on roads and in residential areas to ensure smooth traffic; supported people in clearing damaged roofs on roads and in residential areas.
