In Hanoi, with more than 124,000 candidates, Hanoi is the locality with the largest number of candidates taking the high school graduation exam in the country. The city has mobilized more than 16,000 officials and teachers to act as exam supervisors.

Determining that the examination supervision stage is of great importance to ensure the real results of the examination, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training pays special attention to the professional training of the invigilators. At the meeting of all members of the examination sites held this morning, June 25, in addition to reviewing the preparation of facilities, examination site protection plans, and assigning tasks to the forces, the examination sites spent most of their time to organize the study of the regulations.

Accordingly, all members at the testing site are thoroughly informed of the test invigilation instructions, clarifying the duties and powers of each member, especially new points in the test invigilation process.

One of the requirements emphasized to all supervisors is to fully comply with the examination process according to the regulations. Specifically, when the test time is given, supervisor No. 1 compares the photo in the examination room list with the candidate and identification documents to identify, and at the same time clearly writes the full name and signs on the exam papers and scratch papers of the candidates; checks and reminds candidates to fill in all information.

Supervisor number 2 performs general monitoring duties. During the test, one supervisor monitors from one end of the room to the other, while the other monitors in the opposite direction.

Supervisors are not allowed to stand near candidates and are not allowed to help candidates with the test in any way. They are only allowed to publicly answer candidates' questions in the exam room within the prescribed scope.

The two invigilators are responsible for protecting the exam papers during the entire exam period, not allowing them to leak out of the exam room. During the exam, if any unusual situation arises, especially those related to the rights of the candidates, the invigilators must report immediately to the head of the exam site for consideration and decision before handling.

After calculating the 15-minute exam time (for each subject), the invigilator must count the number of extra exam papers (if any), seal them and keep them in the exam room until the end of the exam time.
