Meeting of female delegates attending the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee

On the evening of October 2, the Steering Committee for Gender Equality and the Advancement of Women coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union to organize a meeting of female delegates attending the 1st Provincial Party Congress of Vinh Long.

Comrade Tran Van Ron - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee presented gifts to female provincial leaders.

Comrade Tran Van Ron - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee, Comrade Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, comrades Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, provincial leaders, and 113 female delegates attending the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 attended the meeting.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Ho Thi Hoang Yen delivered a congratulatory speech to the female delegates.

The meeting created an atmosphere of solidarity, closeness, and encouragement for female delegates before the Congress. This was also an opportunity for female delegates to exchange and share experiences in the process of participating in management and implementing the goal of gender equality in the political field. Honoring and spreading the image of female cadres and party members of Vinh Long province as united, brave, intelligent, and responsible. Thereby, promoting propaganda on gender equality and for women's advancement; raising awareness of gender equality in the political field; affirming the role and contribution of female delegates to the overall success of the Congress.

Comrade Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee congratulated the outstanding female delegates, representing the mettle, intelligence and aspirations of women in the province. Female cadres need to be given opportunities to promote their capacity, demonstrate their role as the nucleus of solidarity, a bridge connecting the Party's will and the people's hearts; and at the same time be a pioneering force in local social issues, gender issues, patriotic emulation movements, education - health - culture, building happy families, digital transformation, start-ups and integration.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Kim Ngoc Thai and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Lam Minh Dang presented gifts to female leaders of central agencies attending the Congress.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Comrade Nguyen Van Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee Organizing Committee presented gifts to female delegates.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested that leaders, Party committees, authorities and organizations continue to pay attention, create favorable conditions and have more suitable policies and mechanisms so that women can work with peace of mind and promote their capacity and intelligence in the new term.
