Hung Dung goes under the knife, Hanoi FC suffers heavy losses

Midfielder Do Hung Dung underwent surgery today (May 18). The 2019 Vietnam Golden Ball winner was hospitalized and operated on due to acute appendicitis. This means that Do Hung Dung will have to rest for a while.

This is a big loss for Hanoi FC at a time when V-League 2023 is about to return after a break. Before Do Hung Dung had to retire, the capital team lost captain Nguyen Van Quyet. Hanoi FC did not have the service of this striker in 8 matches in V-League and National Cup.
