Hung Yen attracts more than 840 million USD in investment capital

In the first 7 months of 2025, the whole province attracted a total registered investment capital, equivalent to more than 840 million USD, reaching 84% of the annual plan assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.

Specifically, the province has received 64 new investment projects, including: 35 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total registered capital of 352 million USD and 29 domestic investment (DDI) projects with a total registered capital of more than 9,000 billion VND. In addition, 35 projects have had their capital adjusted to increase, of which 26 FDI projects increased by nearly 114 million USD, 9 DDI projects increased by 350 billion VND.

In July alone, the province received 9 new investment projects with a total registered capital of 73.4 million USD from FDI projects and 564 billion VND from DDI projects. At the same time, one FDI project was adjusted to increase its capital by 0.5 million USD.

Investment capital disbursement activities for project implementation continued to achieve positive results. In July, the total investment capital disbursed in industrial parks was estimated at VND1,130 billion (including USD30 million and VND430 billion). Accumulated to the end of July, the investment capital realized reached about VND11,700 billion, equivalent to USD323 million, equal to 55% of the yearly plan. Of which, secondary investment projects accounted for a large proportion with more than VND10,500 billion of disbursed capital.
