China Tour guide in Guizhou got angry with group of tourists because no one wanted to shop when he was led into gem shops.
According to a video circulating on Chinese social media sites, a tour guide yelled at tourists for an hour on the bus while taking a group of tourists from Guangzhou to Guizhou, southwest China, on September 26.

According to the schedule, the tour guide took the group to several gem shops, but the guests mostly just stopped by and did not buy anything, which made her angry. She threatened to cancel the tour and abandon the group if they did not spend money at the shopping spots on the tour.
This person kept complaining that she had led the group of tourists around for two days, taking pictures and taking care of them when needed. But the group of tourists "did not help the tour guide", spending money to buy a few items. The female tour guide even scolded the tourists for being "stingy" and "couldn't understand why they wouldn't buy anything".
The argument became more heated when a member of the delegation argued that "it is the customer's choice to shop or not".
The female tour guide then discovered a customer filming a video. She rushed over and asked the driver to delete it. She also asked the driver to stop at a resort for an hour to threaten the group of customers.
A member of the group said it was a budget tour and only one member of the group went shopping. "After stopping to curse, the tour guide continued driving, but the next day her attitude was still very bad," the guest said.

On September 29, the Guiyang City Culture and Tourism Bureau, Guizhou Province, and other law enforcement agencies began verifying the identity of the female tour guide and the tour company.
Guiyang city authorities said they will investigate and will not tolerate any acts that affect the legitimate rights and interests of tourists.
The incident happened during Golden Week, the longest annual holiday in the country of one billion people. This year's Golden Week lasts 8 days, from September 29 to October 6, and hundreds of millions of Chinese people are expected to travel.
