Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and divisions of Hoai Duc district; staff, teachers and students of Duc Giang Primary School.
Reporting on the project implementation process, Deputy Director of Hoai Duc District Project Management Board Nguyen Xuan Van said that the project to build a new Duc Giang Primary School was approved by Hoai Duc District for investment with a total cost of 81 billion VND.
Duc Giang Primary School project is newly built on a land area of about 1.5 hectares, including a 3-storey administrative building combined with a classroom block, 3 3-storey classroom blocks (30 standard classrooms), a 2-storey multi-purpose building and other buildings and auxiliary works. The completed and put into use project contributes to creating a spacious, clean and beautiful school, creating a pedagogical environment, meeting the wishes and teaching and learning needs of teachers and children in the area. At the same time, it helps to complete the facilities, making Duc Giang Primary School a level 2 national standard school and completing the criteria conditions for communes to become wards, districts to become districts in the near future.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha praised the achievements of Hoai Duc district in the past time. The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee also requested the district to focus on implementing key tasks in the coming time such as implementing and completing targets, prioritizing investment in improving the quality of education ; having specific solutions, approaching new models to improve the quality of teaching and learning. At the same time, continuing to invest, manage after investment, and effectively exploit public works and schools to serve people's lives.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee also requested that Hoai Duc district focus on completing documents and submitting them to the city for approval of the investment policy to build a multi-level, progressive, modern, high-quality general school in the coming time.
On this occasion, the City People's Committee awarded Deputy Director of the Hoai Duc District Construction Investment Project Management Board Nguyen Xuan Van for his achievements in implementing the Duc Giang Primary School construction project.
