TPO - More than 10,000 candidates will enter the second round of the recruitment of civil servants in the education sector of Ho Chi Minh City on September 27 and 28. This is the recruitment of civil servants in the education sector with the highest number of candidates ever.

More than 10,000 candidates will attend the second round of the education sector recruitment exam in Ho Chi Minh City on September 27 and 28.

After the application review round, 10,176 candidates were qualified to take the second round. This is the recruitment exam for education sector civil servants with the highest number of candidates ever after the merger of Ho Chi Minh City.

This is also the first time the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has organized a civil servant recruitment exam for all levels of education, from kindergarten to high school.

The exam is held at 6 locations:

Preschool level: Exam at Trung Vuong High School (No. 3 Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, Saigon Ward).

Primary level (including teaching many subjects, general education, special education): Exam at Hung Vuong High School (No. 124 Hong Bang Street, Cho Lon Ward).

Secondary, High School and Continuing Education (with subjects Social Sciences, History - Geography, Literature, Math): Exam at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (No. 20 Ly Tu Trong Street, Saigon Ward).

Secondary, High School and Continuing Education (Natural Sciences, Physical Education, National Defense and Security): Exam at Gia Dinh High School (No. 44 Vo Oanh Street, Thanh My Tay Ward).

Primary and secondary school levels with subjects of Information Technology, Music - Fine Arts, Technology, Economics and Law, Civic Education: Exam at Marie Curie High School (No. 159 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, Xuan Hoa Ward).

Foreign Language subject only: Exam at Nguyen Huu Tho High School (No. 2 Ben Van Don Street, Xom Chieu Ward).

Morning exam from 7:00 to 11:30. Afternoon exam from 13:00 to 17:30.

Exam method

Candidates draw lots to choose a practice topic, prepare presentation content on a preparation form within 15 minutes, and submit the preparation form to the examination and testing committee member.

Candidates present knowledge and illustrate professional skills according to the prepared content and answer questions from the examination and testing panel members within 15 minutes.

Candidates are not allowed to bring into the examination room: Mobile phones, recording devices, cameras, computers, technical devices for receiving and transmitting information, data backup devices, other information storage and transmission devices, and papers and documents not related to the examination content.

In the first round of teacher recruitment for the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City will recruit 5,729 teachers. Of which, for public service units under the Department of Education and Training, the recruitment demand is 670 civil servants for teacher positions. For public service units under the People's Committees of wards, communes and special zones, the recruitment demand is 5,059 teachers.
