Nga Son district is ready for Mai An Tiem Festival

Mai An Tiem Festival is held by Nga Son district every year in the third lunar month to affirm and honor the great contributions, heroic spirit, and diligence in labor and production of Saint Mai An Tiem. At the same time, it arouses the beauty of traditional culture and the rich national identity of Nga Son homeland.

As planned, in 2024, Mai An Tiem Festival will be held on April 19 and 20 (ie March 11 and 12, Giap Thin year), at Mai An Tiem Temple Relic Site, Nga Phu Commune (Nga Son).

The ceremony opened on the morning of April 19 (March 11 of the lunar calendar) with traditional rituals and a welcoming art program. The festival includes many unique cultural activities, such as: melon carving competition, tug of war, chess, volleyball...

Up to now, preparations for the festival have been basically completed. The Mai An Tiem Festival Organizing Committee has directed and assigned tasks to relevant departments, branches, sectors and member units to urgently complete the tasks.

Both sides of the road - the entrance to the festival area are decorated with ornamental plants and festival flags in an orderly and beautiful manner.
