Connecting new cooperation opportunities in the logistics ecosystem of the Central region

Today, August 22, in Hue city, Business Forum Magazine and Vietnam Logistics Services Association (VLA) coordinated with relevant units to organize the 6th Regional Logistics Forum "Cross-border logistics - growth momentum in the North Central region and Central Coast".

The event gathered more than 400 delegates from ministries, branches, management agencies, logistics enterprises, and domestic and foreign import-export enterprises, promising to open up many strategic suggestions, make substantial connections, and attract investment flows for logistics in the North Central region and Central Coast.

Entering its 6th year, the Regional Logistics Forum in Hue City is not only an annual specialized event but also carries the special responsibility of promoting cross-border logistics linkages, shaping the central role of logistics connection in the Central region on the national and regional logistics map. In particular, evaluating and recommending a roadmap for the development of the Region's free trade zone.

In the Regional Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, the North Central and Central Coast are identified as the driving force, leading the country in marine economy . Taking advantage of the system of seaports, international border gates, airports and the East - West economic corridor, this region is oriented to become a logistics hub connecting both North - South and East - West, contributing over 6% of the national logistics industry revenue by 2050.

Not only stopping at vision, the forum is an opportunity to listen to voices from practice. Enterprises will directly share difficulties in operation, propose solutions to management agencies, and at the same time connect new cooperation opportunities in the logistics ecosystem that is taking shape in the North Central and Central Coast regions.

The comments and contributions at the forum will be an important basis for perfecting policies and shaping regional logistics development priorities in the coming period.
