Participating in the sports festival, 45 contestants focused on the following competitions: Theory including writing essays on the environment, chemical staff work, general understanding of weapons of mass destruction; practice using preventive equipment, operating technical equipment in the establishment, organization and specialized training methods.

In his opening speech, Colonel Nguyen Thinh Tiep affirmed: Chemical assurance is one of the important assurance aspects in combat operations, performing combat readiness tasks, managing and protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. In recent years, chemical assurance work in units in the Service has been deployed and implemented synchronously and comprehensively. Every year, the Naval Chemical Industry always strictly implements the Navy Commander's combat training orders, chemical defense training work ensures correct and sufficient content, close to reality, training quality is increasingly improved... contributing significantly to the forces in the Service to successfully complete all tasks, firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands, maintain a peaceful and stable environment at sea and build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Service.

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy emphasized: The organization of the 2025 Naval Chemical Training Sports Festival aims to evaluate the staffing ability of officers at all levels; training results; practical level of exploitation and use of chemical equipment in the establishment, especially new equipment of the troops in regular activities, combat readiness and sudden missions. From there, promptly adjust and supplement the training plan as well as direct work to improve the quality of training in the following years.

Colonel Nguyen Thinh Tiep wished the contestants participating in the sports festival to unite, uphold the spirit of responsibility, achieve the highest results and ensure absolute safety.
