From September 28-30, in Moc Chau ward, the Department of Culture of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Son La province organized the opening of a training course on teaching, preserving and promoting folk art, folk dance and folk music of the Dao Tien ethnic group.

Attending the training class were nearly 100 trainees who are Dao Tien ethnic artisans and actors from Tan Yen and Doan Ket communes, Thao Nguyen ward.

The training content focuses on 02 topics: Preserving and promoting traditional culture of ethnic minorities in Son La province in general and Dao Tien ethnic group in particular; Preserving and promoting the Pao Dung folk performing art of the Dao Tien people in Son La. At the same time, students are also trained in basic knowledge and skills in organizing, operating, maintaining club activities, staging skills, building art programs and teaching folk performing arts, folk dance, and folk music in the community.

The training course aims to effectively implement Project 06 on "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" under the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030. Thereby, arousing pride in the fine traditional cultural values ​​in the Dao Tien ethnic community. At the same time, motivating and encouraging people to actively participate in preserving, promoting and spreading cultural values, contributing to enriching the traditional cultural treasure of Vietnamese ethnic groups./.
