Opening of Sports Festival 2025 "80-year journey - For national security"

On the evening of August 23, at NovaWorld Phan Thiet, Tien Thanh ward (Lam Dong), the opening ceremony of the Sports Festival took place with the theme "80-year journey - For the security of the Fatherland".

Sports Festival is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025). The event attracted more than 7,000 athletes from the armed forces, sports clubs and sports-loving communities across the country.

Sports Festival 2025 takes place continuously with 6 sports, divided into 2 phases. Phase 1, from August 19 to September 2, includes: "80-year journey for national security" running race; 1st People's Public Security Golf Tournament; Compak Sporting flying disc shooting tournament; Kun Khmer Kickboxing tournament.

Phase 2 takes place from October to November 2025, with tennis tournaments and the Southern region-wide People's Public Security Pickleball Tournament. Sports Festival 2025 also organizes many music and fashion performances and spaces for experiencing food - sports - connection.
