On the morning of September 5, in the jubilant atmosphere of the whole country, Sai Dong Urban Primary School celebrated the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the Education sector and the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026. Joining the celebration with the teachers and students of the school were leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Phuc Loi Ward (Hanoi) and all the students of the school.

Teacher Le Thi Thu Huong - Principal of the school said, Sai Dong Urban Primary School has been recognized as a high-quality public school; reaching national standards level 2; achieving quality accreditation level 3. In 2018, the school became a member of the Cambridge education system with school code VN-183.

Sai Dong Urban Primary School constantly innovates and actively applies IT in school library work. Building a friendly and safe reading environment and space. Attracting teachers and students to participate in library activities in lively, rich and appropriate forms. In the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years, the library will reach Level 2.

Actively implement the emulation movement "Building a friendly school, active students" through serious and effective organization of flag-saluting hours, class activities, monthly thematic activities, competitions outside of class hours, competitions to keep the school clean, speak good words and do good deeds, organize cultural and artistic competitions... practice communication culture in the workplace, and link activities with building school culture.

In addition, the trade union work has improved a lot and received the assessment of the Long Bien District Labor Federation (formerly) as having completed its tasks well in both the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years. Over the past 11 years, the school's Youth Union has introduced 7 new party members to the Party and continued to introduce and train 2 outstanding union members.

According to teacher Le Thi Thu Huong, in the context of implementing the two-level local government model, especially after the Politburo issued Resolution 71 on breakthroughs in education and training development, many opportunities will be brought to schools. Along with that, there will also be a number of challenges that need to be overcome, requiring flexibility and initiative in the process of implementing the school year's tasks.

Sai Dong Urban Primary School will plan to adjust the school program in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training on teaching 2 sessions/day; improve the quality and duration of teaching English and Information Technology as well as educational activities related to English, teaching digital citizenship; gradually research to form capacity development clubs, prioritize students to learn traditional musical instruments according to the instructions of superiors...
